The kids played broomball for Active Kids club after school in December. They loved it even though it was below zero....they don't seem to notice the cold! Carter preferred to shovel off the ice rink instead of play with the brooms yet I can't get him to shovel the driveway. weird!!

Tower of Babel

For FHE last night we read about the Tower of Babel and then the kids made towers out of marshmallows and toothpicks. They turned out good but i'm sorry to say they ate WAY to many marshmallows. Oh well!!

The kids made apple Turkeys but we forgot toothpicks so they had to be really creative! I was amazed at how good they did without them!!

Carter's baptism

We had a wonderful Baptism for Carter on November 17, 2012. We also blessed Sawyer at the meeting! We had a wonderful turnout and a lunch afterwards with our Alaska Family!

Carter turns 8

Our eldest son, Carter, turned 8 on November 12. He has been begging to go to this indoor waterpark for years but it is so dang expensive, we have never gone. So for his eight birthday we took the whole family and it turned out fun! I didn't get any pictures of his party but he had a great time. All he wanted was pokemon stuff and he got that!! He started cub scouts and LOVES it!!! He must be related to Grandpa Barrus!! Happy Birthday Carter!!!!
